Last night was spent catching up and having lots of laughs with family and some friends I haven't seen for about a year and a half. Andrew, his Wife Shalisa and
thier two daughters Elena, and Sofia live in Wisconsin where he is a contractor and handyman, and Shalisa is a College professor. They are visiting friends and family and will be down for the next 10 days. As you can see they are Michigan fanatics, but I try not to hold that against them.
There are many things I could say about Andrew, but 2 words is all that is needed to describe him to the tee. He is a "BRIGHT SPOT," everywhere he goes his laughter and great personality are contageous.
Well bro, it was great to see you and your family again and I hope you have a Merry Christmas.
These were just a few other great pictures on the night of all the kids.

Where has the year gone!!
Well, this last month and a half has been a total blur!! After my last post there was much going on, from Halloween then some family birthdays, to Thanksgiving, and who can forget the BLACK FRIDAY shopping!! Can anyone say insane?? Recently Linda and I had gone to hear a Christmas show at the TCC, (Tucson Convention Center, not to be confused with The Cool Church, thats another story!!) a violinist by the name of Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra. He was very good but I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical. After what was a slow start I was impressed and was really enjoying the music.
On December 12-14 I was able to go to FT. Lauderdale on business, to see a day treatment facility called The Recovery Place. It's a place for people who struggle with CD and behavioral health issues, New Life Ministries recently came into partnership with. What a great time, I just wished my family would have been able to join me. I stayed in a three bedroom apparptment on the twentieth floor of a highrise, "Luxury," it's the best word to describe it. I felt so important and powerful, the looks from the peons as I proudly lit up the 20th floor in the elevator were priceless. I was also able to attend their anual Christmas party while I was down there, what perfect timing.
Now we only have 8 shopping days left and Christmas is upon us! These next few weeks for us are filled with much laughter and celebration with family and friends, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. This year will be especially great because not only do we have an addition with newcomers Brynlee, (Lori's Daughter,) and Tyler of course is mine, but also my Grandpa and his wife Barbara will be joining us for this wonderful time of year.

Vanguard Reunion.
Saturday and Sunday October 27th and 28th Linda and I with the boys attended the 10 year anniversary of Bradshaw Mountain Christian Assembly in Prescott Valley. It also just so happened to be the 10 your reunion for my Vanguard class. Vanguard was a one year committment to growing in the Lord and developing skills for someday going into the ministry full time. Not only was there book work and study to be done through Berean Bible college, but also hands on experience with worship ministries, youth, children and missions. It was a busy year with many many great memories. 10 YEARS I cant believe it.
I started out the year living in Prescott Valley where I got to help start Bradshaw Mountain Christian Assembly. I can remember our first service, there was a two foot ditch running right down the center isle of the church, and a huge mound of dirt on stage. I did everything from dig holes to drive a tractor to tearing down old rickety fences. I even crawled under that old rat infested mobile home trying to help Lee Metcalf and Scott Stair hook up some random piece of equipment for who knows what, it was crazy! If I can recall correctly we had between 13 and 20 people there on that first Sunday. Now 10 years later I still feel like I have a connection to that church and love to visit when I can get a chance.
Here are some pictures of that Reunion Weekend
I also want to give a a huge thank you to Steve and Mary Dibble, and Melissa (who had to sleep on the couch),for letting My family take over thier house for the weekend. All Carson could talk about on the drive home was VADER this and VADER that, not to mention kitty cat. We love you guys.

Joy in Sorrow.
Well This last weekend we all took a trip up to Sacramento for my Grandma Lucy's Funeral. I actually drove up with my mom on Wednesday October 17th, while the rest of the fam flew in on Friday the 19th. The weekend was filled with mixed emotion as the realization that I have no more Grandma's alive. It was a sobering thought. I remembered the good times, the laughs, and Family reunions, but most of all I tried to remember Grandma. Her looks, her smiles, what did she love. Every thought came back to the same answer. She loved her family and she really loved when we were all together. That is when her smiles were the biggest.
Grandma, Thank you for the times I heard you belly laugh, Thank you for saying I love you with your eyes, the words weren't needed. Thank you for a smile that said I am proud of you. And most of all thank you for The hug that said everything else. No matter what we always knew we could always cuddle up with Grandma for a great big HUG.
Grandma, these pictures are posted on the blog for you because your family made you the happiest.

Octoberfest on MT Lemmon
On Sunday, Linda and I decided to take the kids up to Mt Lemmon and have a picnic. We stopped off at Windy Point, and let the little man get out and run around. All those rocks everywhere you should have seen this kid, he's a natural climber.
What is with that look on Carson's face? Chowin down having a picnic. You cant beat it.
Throwing rocks into the stream was his absolute favorite activity for the day.
What a little boy huh!!
There we are at the top of MT Lemmon, So beautiful.

What is he up to???
I ask the question because Carson loves to Color, and he will use anything, anywhere as his newest masterpiece. The walls, the furniture, his body aren't safe as long as this kid has got a marking utensil in his hands.
That smile is very suspicious.
This tells the story, He also loves to sit at my desk and say, "I'm Working!" You gotta love that.

WINNER !!!
While I am busy with helping people in need, you know Semi- phone counseling/ free advice. I get a call from a woman claiming to be from Fry's Supermarket's wanting to know if she was speaking to Jason White. I hesitated a little for fear of another sales call but reluctantly I answered her," Yes this is Jason." She said well sir, "I thought oops it is a sales call," I am calling on behalf of our Fry's /Arizona Cardinals sweepstakes, "What have I done" I said to myself. She continued, I just want to inform you that you have been selected as the"GRAND PRIZE WINNER of TWO tickets to an AZ Cardinals game at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Dodgers or Doggers
Don't get me wrong, I am a die hard fan, and even got to meet the "88 World series team" way back when, so LA is in my blood, and as you can see it will be in my two boys as well. I just don't understand what is going on with them. Allow me to vent a little!! How is it that they are 5.5 games back in the division?? They are inconsistent, and look to washed up has been's to be season changers. I like their team mentality and understand the idea, "pitching wins games," but you've got to be able to score runs and be consistent. When Kent, or Gonzo are your power hitters I think you have got some problems, I mean how old are they?? Who would have thought getting rid of Betemit would have had such a ripple effect on them, isn't that when they started the unbelievable streak of losses. I know they still have time and do have the ability to win the division, but at this point I think it's going to take a little help from the D-Backs losing some games for that to be a reality. All hope is not lost, We can still win the wild card outright. What I am saying now is Lets kick it up a notch here in the stretch and bring home the pennant!

A great weekend
On friday, I with my wife took our son to a place out here in Tucson called Pump It Up. It is an indoor inflatables play place. Carson with his Cousin Adaya were maniacs in thier relentless pursuit of more fun. There were giant slides, jumping castles, and obstacle courses galore, all of which were childs paly for these bundles of energy.
On Saturday We went to the Zoo with all of the family and also two of my Cousins who were down to visit. The highlight of the day was watching the tigers. They were so active it seemed they knew that they had an audience & were eating it up.
